So sorry to hear of the loss of Christine. So many fond childhood memories of growing up in Longsdale. Christine was a great friend to my mum Mary and so kind to me and my brother. I am sure we sometimes spent more time in Christine and Tommys house than we did in our own. We were always welcome and the toffee apples were yum!! A very lovely lady! Our hearts go out to Tommy and Alan and families at this saddest of times.

We are so sorry to hear of Auntie Christine's passing. I fondly remember the lovely times we had when I was growing up in Longsdale Cresent. I remember the annual Bonfire night parties we had, with the bonfire in the back green behind No.5, with fireworks, sparklers and Auntie Christine's great home baking and party food. We all had a great time, very happy memories. Our thoughts and love are with Tommy, Allan and their familes at this sad time. xxxx
